My Story

Born and raised in hip and beautiful Newport Beach, California, Cologne's love affair with the beach, the sun, and fashion was naturally acquired from her unique lifestyle. Accepted to UC Berkeley, she spent the next four years falling in love with the vintage stores and flea markets of Berkeley and San Francisco. She obtained a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating on Business, Communications, and Psychology. Following her true passion, she wrote her senior thesis on how fashion reflects identity in college women.

Cologne's undying sense of adventure has allowed her to travel to over twenty countries throughout South America, Europe, Central America, the South Pacific, and the Caribbean. Her junior year, she studied International Business in Barcelona, Spain, and backpacked extensively throughout Europe, absorbing the foreign fashion along the way. She is now excitedly moving to New York City to open up doors for herself. As if starting a company and studying for entry to graduate school in business wasnÕt enough, she also has a book coming out about the highs and lows of college life written in a tongue-in-cheek style for college-bound girls.

Cologne's ambition has landed her internships at MTV and the Orange County fashion magazine Riviera. Next, she interned at Cross Marketing, a public relations firm in San Francisco with high profile clientele in the fashion industry, such as Louis Vuitton, NordstromÕs, Saks, and Global Green. Most recently, Cologne's endeavors combined with her outgoing personality, deemed her an ideal candidate chosen to be a competitor on a new reality series "Stylista", premiering on the CW fall 2008. From the same producers as Project Runway and America's Next Top Model, "The Devil Wears Prada" turned reality series, documents eleven driven fashion enthusiasts fighting for a much coveted position as a fashion editor of Elle Magazine in New York City.

These experiences motivated Cologne to self-start OhdeCologne.com and jump into the fashion world with both feet. The brand represents the mixture of Newport Beach and Berkeley that makes up the designer herself. The vintage inspired line incorporates a modern, comfortable twist with a global appeal. The flirty dresses and enchanting necklaces encompass a casual sophistication that makes them appropriate for practically every occasion. Oh de Cologne stands for the fun, adventure, creativity, and personality in every girl.
